Can a child keep a journal by voice?

Speak an experience first, then check the text. Voice removes the typing step, while the child still chooses what to keep, edit and finish.

Speak about one remembered experience

Follow the app's recording controls and start with one short sentence. There is no need to prepare an essay or extend the recording with extra events.

Pauses and restarts do not always need correction. If transcription is unclear, check the word rather than asking AI to invent a smooth new story.

Check names, actions and transcription

Compare the text with the intended meaning, especially names, numbers, negatives and the order of attempts. A parent helping with edits should first check the child's meaning.

Growly separates the original from companion feedback. Saving and editing do not automatically polish it into another story.

Finish, then review feedback and sharing

Focused writing follows the child's pace, with help on request. Feedback follows completion; saving, assessment and wallet credit have separate states.

Parents still need the child's sharing choice to view content and feedback. Voice does not change that boundary. Current in-app voice availability and usage conditions apply.
